Appropriate distance between fishermen When fishing together with a friend, what would be an appropriate distance to keep, for example when two men are trout-fishing in the same stream? |

That would depend on a lot of factors. Assuming the area is not crowded I would say at least 12 feet apart. They might want to be close enough to help out if one of them needs a net but they do not want to be fishing for the same fish. If the current is taking the lines they would probably need to be farther apart. You need to be there before you decide the appropriate distance.
