The distance is about 200 miles

I believe the distance to be around the 210 mile mark as the crow flies. Traveling by train may well be faster into London. There are frequent departures from Exeter St Davids station running into London Paddington which can be used to complete this journey. Traveling by car is also an option as well as National Express coaches.
