Has anyone any experience of GCSE distance learning courses.? I'm considering changing professions to teaching but although I have a degree I don't have good enough maths or science GCSEs from when I sat them 19 years ago. The only way to get these would be through distance learning courses. |

Im in exactly the same position as you. Fortunately there are 2 colleges I can choose do them at within a 20 mile radius so I wouldnt have to go the distance learning route. I would have thought you would be ok with maths as there are plenty of GCSE help websites but you may need a laboratory for experiments for the Science. May be worth your while asking the local careers service for advice to see if they can find an alternative method for it? Good luck :)
