Are there any part-time/distance-learning JD programs that are accepted by most bars? I would like to practice law, but I don't want to take 3 years off of work to pursue a JD. Are there any part-time programs that suffice to join most state bar associations? Or are there any other tricks to get around the "accredited JD" requirement of most state bars? |

The are reputable, ABA accredited law schools that offer part-time programs. Even some of the top ranked programs do so: Fordham, for example.
There are no ABA accredited distance learning programs for law.
I can't recommend a law school that isn't ABA accredited. As you mentioned, many state bars wouldn't let you take the exam if you want to an unaccredited school (although some would), but importantly, going to an unaccredited school would make it extremely difficult/perhaps impossible to find employment with a reputable law firm.
I'd strongly suggest that you look at the accredited law schools local to you, and see if any of them offer part-time programs.
